MUSEUM OF THE MOON

MUSEUM OF THE MOON

Where:  The Souk Atrium, The Dubai Mall

When: November 2017- January 2018

‘Museum of the Moon’ by Luke Jerram is a truly awe-inspiring installation. Measuring seven metres in diameter, it was created by utilizing highly sophisticated and detailed imagery provided by NASA, which allows visitors to get an up close and personal view of planet Earth’s closest neighbour.

‘Museum of the Moon’ is internally illuminated, with each centimetre of the artwork representing 5 kilometres of the actual moon, making the detail with which the piece has been created extremely meticulous.

A designated area is in place for visitors so they can take time gazing up towards the installation and appreciating this magnificent work of art. It is immensely captivating and a must see for anyone enjoying a day at The Dubai Mall.
