Where: The Souk Atrium, The Dubai Mall
When: January - March 2018
‘Skyward’ by Jason Hackenwerth is a new striking addition to Dubai’s fast-growing art presence. The sculpture, made from 20,000 balloons blown up and interwoven over a period of eight days, is bound to provoke smiles and childlike wonderment in each of us.
The experiential and short-lived art piece spirals down from the ceiling in a breath-taking ombré gradient from brilliant yellow to striking red, perfectly complementing the sophisticated beige hues of The Souk Atrium.
On your next visit to The Dubai Mall, experience the magic that happens when a child’s toy is linked with tens of thousands of its kind to transcend their typical use and become something unforgettable.
