“The Ring” is an immersive sculpture created from dozens of mirrored cubes that refract light and warp the perspective of the surrounding area. The optical effect creates a surreal environment in which both the structures and people are distorted and recreated, fracturing the usual relationship that individuals have with space and with themselves.

About the artist:
Arnaud Lapierre graduated from ENSCI/Les Ateliers de Paris with honors in 2007. Since then, he has participated in design and galleries exhibitions, as well as multidisciplinary projects with international manufacturers, and turned his activity towards interior design (private commissions, retail, showrooms, restaurants, bars and museum exhibition).
The studio creates urban art installations, while also working and drawing for many international furniture manufacturers. Arnaud Lapierre received the prestigious Audi Talents Awards during the closing ceremony Designer’s Days in 2011. His work has been presented in exhibitions at VIA in Paris, FIAC, at Mudac in Lausanne, at Shanghai MODAC, and at the contemporary art centre Hotel de Gallifet in Aix en Provence, as well as personal showcase windows at the Galeries Lafayettes in Paris, France. Since then, he has been commissioned for an urban installation in Shanghai 2018 and will reveal a magistral mirror installation for the new Orly Paris airport terminal in 2019.
